ATLAS – Modern and Affordable Space Communications

Assured Space Access Technologies, Inc. (ASAT) announces the launch of ATLAS a first of its kind satellite command and control system providing 24/7 global access through a mobile, web based interface. Unlike other systems which utilize legacy infrastructure, ATLAS is developed with new hardware and is built on a proprietary state-of-the art platform that gives consumers an intuitive and ergonomic user interface. “When launched, ATLAS’s simple design will provide our customers with an industry leading user-experience unlike anything currently available, and it will open the doors for assured access to space.” said ASAT President, Sean McDaniel.

Users of the ATLAS system will receive high quality support at a fraction of the cost currently paid to existing network providers. With tailored pricing that is directly correlated to usage, satellite owner/operators are able to focus resources and money into their priorities.

"We’re very excited to establish the ATLAS network, and every day we get closer to operations. The buzz is certainly out there. We’ve already received a lot of consumer inquiry about when we’ll be up and running.” said McDaniel recently after a Nov 11th investor forum in Tucson, AZ.

Partnered with RT Logic and Communication and Power Industries (CPI), ATLAS successfully completed its proof of concept demonstration in July. In cooperation with the University of Colorado, Boulder Laboratory for Aospheric and Space Physics (LASP), ATLAS performed multiple satellite passes with QuickScat, demonstrating BPSK and QPSK S-Band capabilities through our 6.1m antenna.

ATLAS plans to have three operational US-based ground stations in 2015, adding three additional ground stations per year through 2019. Polar orbit support from the Arctic is planned for 2016.
