The ATLAS team was hard at work analyzing the market for satellite operations when we came across this very encouraging article.

The Dec. 31 launch of the Chinese Fengyun-2G weather satellite on a Long March 3A rocket was the 92nd and final scheduled orbital launch of 2014. That is the highest number of launches in a single calendar year since 1994, when 93 launches took place.

As the cost of satellites and launch vehicles continues to drop we expect each year to beat the previous. Current projections indicate a 490% rise in satellite launches from 2013 to 2019. Each satellite launch requires ground communications and satellite operations. ATLAS is ready to provide the required services.
