Job Description:

ATLAS is searching for a self-motivated space professional that thrives in a highly collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will help create solutions for our clients through highly effective interactions involving virtual, and written contacts. In this Sales Engineering role, you will work with existing and new clients to communicate how ATLAS’ Software as a Service and global ground station network provide a reliable, secure and cost effective platform for communicating with space vehicles. As part of the Sales team, you will develop and follow processes intended to drive sales and maintain strong customer relations.

Key duties include working collaboratively with the Sales Team and subject matter experts to prepare technically sound proposals in both the government and commercial sectors, acting as a link between ATLAS and its clients, and supporting solution development.

Requirements: 

• Current US Citizenship (clearable for US DoD Security Clearance)
• Undergraduate degree, or equivalent training and experience. STEM disciplines preferred.
• Demonstrated self starter
• Speaking and writing fluency in English

Desired Qualifications: 

• Previous experience convening teams to problem solve, project management, clearly disseminating technical information through written and verbal communication, and preparing contracts and quotes.
• Understanding of ground network operations and the technical requirements of supported spacecraft and launch vehicles. 
• Knowledge of current satellite RF communication methods.
• Interest and desire to stay up-to-date with emerging technology. 
• Experience using STK or other orbital modeling software.
