Job Description:

ATLAS Space Operations is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at the Traverse City, Michigan headquarters. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and fresh ideas as well as passionate about marketing and the satellite communications industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and content marketing
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
  • Help manage the company’s social media accounts, including creating content and scheduling posts
  • Write and edit blog posts, press releases, and other marketing materials
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Help manage the company’s website, including updating content and tracking analytics
  • Organize marketing materials in ATLAS Shared Drive and distribute content to applicable parties
  • Develop internal marketing communication messages
  • Work with the Client Solutions team to develop employee onboarding materials
  • Other duties as assigned in marketing and other departments at ATLAS

Requirements:

  • Current US Citizenship (clearable for US DoD Security Clearance)
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn along with a professional drive
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for marketing and its best practices
  • Academic market research experience is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of the satellite communications industry is a plus, but not required

Additional Information:

  • Internship to run from May 2023 to September 2023
  • Must be available to perform work at ATLAS Space Operations headquarters in Traverse City, Michigan
